[D] This topic may need to be split up into sub-topics, eventually. I read a lot of stuff about food, and given interests in culinary and domestic history, cooking at home, cooking for the SCA, and eating out once in a while, end up thinking about food a lot too. But for now, here’s some stuff about food that I’ve come across and think is worth reading.

Innovation in Food Systems is a good solid article, current at the beginning of 2016, about what we think innovation in food is, what innovation in food really is, and where things are going.

John Bunker’s Search for Heritage Apples is an article about one man’s quest for diversity in apples in the US. I can’t say that things are any better here; I recently went looking for cooking apples, and couldn’t find them in three different supermarkets.
